Sarah Courtney

Operations Director & Owner

Sarah is a business and hospitality leader and co-owner of Atoma.  After 11 years leading customer success and account management teams in the technology sector, she partnered with Chef Johnny Courtney to open Atoma in 2023. She oversees the restaurant’s finance, marketing, public relations, guest communications, private events, and overall business operations, bringing a thoughtful, people-first approach to building a sustainable independent restaurant.  Sarah is a graduate of the Cornell University Women in Leadership program in partnership with the James Beard Foundation and is passionate about supporting growth and resilience within the independent hospitality community.
